Character Description.
Domo-Kun is the mascot Japanese television channel NHK, a fictional character who is a small brown monster with an open mouth full of sharp teeth. He is the hero of a series of 30-second clips broadcast by the channel between programs.
Name value
Domo-kun acquired his name in the second episode of the series, when the Gymnasium turns on the TV for him, and the announcer from the screen said the phrase "Do: mo connitiva"(Eng. Good day.)
which can also be perceived as a play on the words"Good day, Domo". "Do: mo" is a commonly used polite word in Japan that gives a more formal connotation, such as" do: mo arigato " — "thank you very much". And " kun "is a suffix used in relation to younger friends or acquaintances and translated as "comrade", "friend".
